Vince McMahon Reportedly planning to have numerous special changes going forward with this year's SummerSlam. Reportedly, they are currently working on various plans for the 2020 SummerSlam pay-per-view.

On July 23, 2020, WWE officially announced that Due to COVID-19, In coordination with our local partners, government officials, and TD Garden, WWE’s SummerSlam and related events will no longer take place in Boston Refunds are available at the original point of purchase. We are grateful to the city of Boston for their longstanding partnership and look forward to holding WWE events at TD Garden in the future.

SummerSlam will stream live on Sunday, August 23, at 7 p.m. ET on WWE Network, and information regarding a new location for the event is forthcoming.

According to the latest report from PWInsider , WWE has considered an outdoor location for the biggest event of the summer.

According to the report WWE has considered relocating SummerSlam to a local beach or a boat. We can see all or some of the matches finding its location at the beach or a boat, not just a special match.
