Booker T Talks On Potential Return Of CM Punk In WWE
CM Punk is best known for his time in WWE, where his 434-day WWE Championship reign stands as the longest of the 21st century and the sixth-longest in history. After his regiment from WWE, On November 12, Punk made a surprise appearance on the Fox Sports 1 series WWE Backstage. He subsequently joined the program as a special contributor and analyst.

However, production of WWE Backstage was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and afterward suspended by Fox in June 2020.

WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T appeared on Reality Of wresting YouTube Channel to discuss the potential return of CM Punk in WWE.

Booker T started of saying, "CM Punk man left the business, you know. I don't think the way he wants to remember, you know at the end of the day. I left appears that that way. All right, and you know, what be that as it may if people can say whatever they want to say about Punk. He was a big asset to the business, you know, and he was hot. He was red-hot when he walked away from this thing, you know, whatever, You don't want to think that that's the way you walked away from the game. One of the reasons why I'm so glad I came back to WWE is because Leaving on their "King Booker", run.

It just would have been you know, and just walk away for the visit like that it never touched it again because they're Punk's been out of the business that was seven years. Yeah. Yeah and not to have had, you know taste it, you know, get back in the ring I'm telling you right now that that has not happened, Trust me. He's wanted to get back in the ring probably several times. Just trying to figure out man. How do I get back? Especially after the way I walked away, you know what I mean? I mean, how do I get? How do I walk back? in you know and put everything behind and start anew as it's got to be hard.

It's got to be you know, and the thing about it also seven years pass man a lot of guys in the locker room aren't even in the locker room anymore. You know, why does in the locker room? That was what Punk was there? Probably is Roman. You know Kofi Seth, Roman. Yeah. Yeah exactly. So it's not that many guys. He's going to be an elder Statesman, you know and there. I remember being the youngest guy in the locker room and then I remember being digging at all this like guy in the locker room.

It's a certain kind of feel especially if you if you're not content with it, especially when you're not, you know at peace with where you are, especially with your age, you know for me. I was always pretty comfortable in my own skin. It never bothered me about, you know, getting older always save every year I get older, you know, I just know I'm still here baby. Let's go drinking. He still has a lot to offer. I think I think again to finish it and be able to you know, look at it one day and say man. I was pretty good opposed to saying man.

I hate this when you know, you love it, you know, it's one of those times he wouldn't be going backstage if you didn't still love the business right these days. It wouldn't want to talk about a thing about any of those stories if he hated this, you know, so that can't be it and so at 40 years old. I know I was at my best, you know, I could go out and I can work with anybody When I was 40, I was in my Prime shape I could work 45 minutes to an hour with no problem when I was 40 now punk on the other hand. I'm not saying he's a as athletically inclined as I am. That's another story, but he's 40 it is still a chance for me."
