UFC 249 Fight Card Schedule, Prediction May 9, 2020

Ferguson currently holds the record for most consecutive wins in the UFC lightweight division, at twelve since 2012 in May which he lost to Michael Johnson, now there is no one to offset from being a loser. Ferguson had his previous fight against Donald Cerrone on June 8, 2019, at UFC 238. He won the fight via TKO due to a doctor stoppage after Cerrone blew his nose between rounds 2 & 3 which caused his swollen right eye to completely close, rendering him unable to continue.

Gaethje made his debut against Michael Johnson on July 7, at The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale. Gaethje won the back-and-forth fight via TKO in the second round through a combination of punches and knees. I would like to tell you that Tony and Gaethje have never been in the fight against each other, it will be the first time for them to be in the Octagon. Gaethje has played 23 matches including 21 win and 2 losses.

So according to the all above information and the concern from experts, we have to a point to pick up Ferguson as the winner for tonight's UFC 249.
