The return of Edge was seen in the episode of WWE SmackDown.  The fans were in for a big surprise when Edge revealed that he would also wrestle a match on the show. 

Edge faced Grayson Waller at Madison Square Garden.  Waller put on a great performance, but Edge used his experience to get the win.

 On the SmackDown LowDown show, Edge talked about Grayson Waller. 

He told here that Waller appeared prepared for things and he impressed.  The veteran heaped praises on the new star and said,

I get the sense that he (Grayson Waller) wants to talk to big names so that he can make a mark.  He wants to stand in front of John Cena and he wants to stand in front of me too.  I understood this thing because I was present there and I would definitely like to appreciate him for this thing.  However, he handled things and if you can do that, I have no problem with you talking all day long.  That's why I said he was successful, because he was at Madison Square Garden with a Rated-R Superstar.  It was his first match on the roster and he did a good job.  That tells a lot about them.
