Kamaru Usman Vs. Jorge Masvidal Likely To Happen
Next Saturday's UFC 251 card in Abu Dhabi has unfortunately taken a blow. The original main event was supposed to be Usman against Gilbert Burns for the Undisputed UFC Welterweight Title, but unfortunately late Friday night, we found out that Gilbert Burns was withdrawing from the fight card as he tweeted early Saturday morning that he wasn't feeling well, but the UFC has yet to make an official announcement as to why he was forced off the card.

Accordin to the multiple sources and a legit information from ESPN's Ariel Helwani, there are active negotiations to book Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal as the new main event of UFC 251 on July 11.

This is notable because the UFC and Masvidal both were on contract talks for this fight for the past two months. In the end, the UFC decided to walk away from negotiations about a month ago and offered the title fight to Burns.

Later, we got to see Masvidal criticizing UFC for its kind of business. On Saturday we also managed to have the observation on Usma who took to his twitter and wrote, "Might be time for the pig to squeal,". While, the sources say Masvidal is on the negotiation and likely to become the unexpected replacement for UFC 251.

Masvidal holds the record for the fastest knockout in UFC history, at 5 seconds. As of January 27, 2020, he is #3 in the UFC welterweight rankings.

They both have never been against in the octagon. If, this happens then would headline their first fight. Masvidal has played 48 matches including 35 wins with 13 losses. Masvidal faced Ben Askren on July 6, 2019, at UFC 239. He won the fight via a flying knee 5 seconds into the first round. The knockout was the fastest knockout in UFC history, breaking the record set by Duane Ludwig.

So right now they are bumping up the max Holloway versus Alexander Volkov for featherweight title rematch to the main events. There's still may be a very small amount of Hope left that they might be able to salvage this Welterweight Title Fight.
