Kevin Owens appreciates you all taking that ride along with him for the next five years that he is gonna have in WWE. The former United States Champion Kevin Ownes took to his twitter to reveal his life-changing moment with John Cena. Kevin Owens said "At this exact moment 5 years ago, I was in a hotel room in Richmond, VA watching the Payback PPV, knowing full well that the next night on Raw, l'd be stepping up to John Cena and that my career would change forever. It had been a crazy ride up until that point and it has been just as crazy of a ride since.

"Lots of highs. Plenty of lows. All of the memories that will stay with me forever. I appreciate you all taking that ride along with me and I hope you're all here for the next 5 years. Hopefully, they turn out to be just as memorable as the previous ones. I think they will... Take care, guys, and thank you!".

For more information in case you don't know, exactly five years ago Owens made his unannounced main roster debut on the May 18 episode of Raw, responding to John Cena's United States Championship open challenge, but instead of competing in the match he attacked Cena and stomped on the United States title in a show of disrespect, setting up a non-title match between the two at Elimination Chamber on May 31, which Owens won cleanly by pinfall.

Later, they both faced off in a rematch at Money In The Bank which was won by John Cena, Kevin Owens performed a powerbomb on Cena. Kevin Owns would go on to challenge John Cena for United States Championship match at Battleground which John Cena won by submission. This is how he completely went through the change in his career.
