Next month in WWE SummerSlam 2023, Roman Reigns will have a big match with Jey Uso.  The two will compete for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.  Prior to this, Rance defended his title for the last time at WrestleMania 39 against Cody Rhodes. 

There Rhodes was defeated. Cody Rhodes recently gave his interview to SI Media.  Cody was asked about his crushing loss on Show of Show.  They said,

I will say the thing that probably annoyed me the most.  I believe Roman Reigns said later in the press conference.  They said, 'We're only in the third inning here,' something like that.  Talking about the story, and I thought, 'Yeah.  Your third innings.  Your third innings.  The world of WWE doesn't directly revolve around you.

After WWE WrestleMania, it was thought that Cody's rivalry would continue with Rance but this did not happen.  His rivalry immediately started with Brock Lesnar.  There have been two matches between the two so far.  Both won one match each.

 Now the third match between Lesnar and Cody will take place at SummerSlam 2023.  Cody has claimed many times that this time he will end this rivalry by winning.  Although he will find it very difficult to beat Lesnar.
