UFC News: Jon Jones Gets Arrested For Negligent Use Of Firearm In Albuquerque, Aggravated DWI,
Jones was arrested for intensified DWI "driving while intoxicated" as well as neglectful use of a firearm, possession of an open container and no proof of insurance. According to Albuquerque’s Metropolitan Detention Center current inmate list, Jones is no longer in custody.
According to a report from KOAT Action News 7 that was revealed by MMA Junkie that local police officers reacted to 3rd and Central avenues in Albuquerque on the gunshots firearm. Officers reportedly noticed Jones inside a running vehicle. Jones put the statement on knowing nothing about the gunshots.

Jones faced Dominick Reyes on February 8, 2020, in the main event of UFC 247. Jones won the fight via unanimous decision.
