WWE Backlash(2020) might be continuing from the close-center WWE Performance arena on June 14, 2020 due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. WWE Backlash was planned to live from Kansas City.

All the situation will be pivoting upon the Coronavirus outbreak. It will be the fifteenth event in the Backlash chronology and the first Backlash since 2018.

Edge Vs. Randy Orton

All the speculation has come to an end as Randy Orton and Edge will collied in a Wrestling match at Backlash 2020. Edge and Randy Orton meet up this Raw to respond to Randy Orton.

Randy Orton and Edge competed at WrestleMania 36 in a Last Man Standing Match which saw Edge getting victorious. Since then they both were not regarded in the ring.

On May 11, 2020, at the episode of Raw Edge return to the ring whereby he confronted Randy Orton who challenged him by saying that "If you've got the guts, it'll be Edge vs. Randy Orton in a straight-up wrestling match."The Viper challenge could possibly take place at WWE Backlash! which is planned to air live on June 14 and This will be the first Backlash pay-per-view since 2018.

Edge started the things off saying that he came to WWE to announce the retirement in his own term. He and his family were ready to move on from Orton. He also mentioned that "he didn't come back to hunt Orton, as WWE had advertised, because he got his closure at WrestleMania".

Edge had some words about the WWE locker room, but Orton interrupted and made his way to the ring. Orton first congratulated Edge and said "the better man won at WrestleMania". He then turned his eyes off Edge but followed the entrance once again.

Randy Oton had all back memories on the line and lastly he told Edge to go Backlash matches that they had once. Randy Orton challenged him by saying that "If you've got the guts, it'll be Edge vs. Randy Orton in a straight-up wrestling match."

On May 18, 2020, Edge and Randy Orton faced off each other. Randy Orton entered the ring and he said "we tore each apart and this building and that night Edge was the batter man but Edge is not the superiors I just need this ring and a referee to prove as the superior. He pushed himself near the camera to lead a message to Edge.

Randy said "why you did not accept my challenge because you are grit in passion and what just grit in passion is a doubt now. The Mic hit and we welcomed Edge in the ring with a much aggressive way. He said to Randy that you are not a batter wrestler just like he did and the other superstars in the locker room. Randy Orton interrupted him reminding him of what he just happened to be here. Edge aggressively shut him up by accepting the challenge. Randy got off the ring at the hearing of the acceptance.

Drew McIntyre Vs. Bobby Lashley

It's official now WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will put the championship on the line against Bobby Lashley at WWE Backlash as it was confirmed by Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre on twitter.

Earler, Drew took to his twitter to respond Bobby Lashley that "Oh YOU’RE putting ME on notice? Good. This is the @fightbobby EVERYONE has wanted to see for two years now. You’re a dangerous man, but leave your marital issues at the door because if we’re going to do this, I want the very best version of Lashley. I’ll be waiting".

Bobby Lashley would immediately make it out with a response to set off a match at Backlash "Did I stutter? Careful what you wish for Champ. You want “this Lashley”...you got it. See you at #WWEBacklash", Bobby Lashley said this.

We were likely to stipulate after what we just witnessed during The Monday Night Raw edition. MVP got Bobby Lashley into the encouragement that he needs to pay his attention on something big which makes him a free Lashley.

At the main event of Raw, Bobby Lashley and MVP suddenly, emerged out at the entrance while, Drew McIntyre was having his match against Baron Corbin which he won. Drew McIntyre would immediately speak up to Bobby Lashley that if he wants to get his hands on him then he is free to use.

Now, It resembles that Bobby Lashley would finally get a title shot at WWE Backlash.

Will Bobby Lashley come out as the champ or Drew continues to be in the dominant streak of victory.

WWE Universal Championship Handicap match

Braunstrowman Vs. John Morrison & The Miz

Braunstrowman Vs. John Morrison & The Miz is official now for Universal Championship match at Backlash.

On SmackDown, The Miz and John Morrison were in the ring to represent the "Dirt Sheet". They mentioned their concern to Otis who 2 weeks ago became the MR. Money In The Bank. The Miz dragged Universal Champion Braun Strowman into their talk. They had some new Bray Wyatt's Puppets introduced.

Meanwhile, we turned our eyes towards Braun Stowman as he walked down the way to ring. They had some trash-talking whereby, Morrison got aggressive and set off a challenge to a match between Braun Strowman Vs. The Miz. Braun Strowman demanded for the referee so he could get his hands on The Miz.

Later, Braun Stroman cleared his way out with a massive Powerslam to win the match. After the match, Morrison took the mic and challenged Braun for a Universal Championship match in two on one handicap match at WWE Backlash.

Raw Women's Championship match

Nia Jax Vs. Asuka(c)

As we earlier predicted that Nia Jax is currently stating her hands on Raw Women's Championship by calling the bluff on Asuka. This could end up in a Championship match at WWE Backlash on June 14, 2020. ALL she had to do was to face off Nataly and Charlotte FLair to get the ticket for the title shot at WWE Backlash.

On May 18, at the Raw episode Asuka and Kairi Sane were in the ring to have the celebration as Asuka became the Raw Women's champion. They had some trash talking and then they were interrupted by Nia Jax in the ring.

Nia Jax said "there is nothing to celebrate about, she was literally handed over and by the time she will be replaced by someone possessive". Asuka meanwhile, posted Nia Jax with a hip attack sending her out of the ring.

Later, Nia Jax was caught chasing Kairi Sane and Asuka at Backstage. Nia Jax got her hands on Kairi Sane who was found alone, Kairi Sane was taken under the treatment as she covered some injury. Asuka could not endure it anymore and she would take Nia Jax for a strike from behind.

On May 25 at the episode of Raw, Nia Jax defeated Charlotte Flair and Natalya in a Triple Threat match to get the shot against Asuka at WWE Backlash.

Nia Jax is the former Raw Women's Champion, she got to capture from Alexa Bliss who was resolved to call her Body Slam. Later, they both turned out to be evil for each other. On April 8, 2018, at WrestleMania 34, Nia Jax defeated Alexa Bliss to win the title. marking the first title win of her career.

Asuka is not even someone who could be taken away with steeps, Asuka had everything, she wanted to list in her career and now she is on to archive more applauds with Raw Women's title.
