Wednesday's WWE NXT episode on the USA Network features the return of Finn Bálor who was forced to back due to a mystery man who Made a heinous sneak-attack in the backstage area two weeks ago. Finn Bálor was scheduled to go up against The Velveteen Dream but could not proceed further due to the act of attack from a mystery person.

USA Network also features the debut of Karrion Kross and Scarlett, formerly known as Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux.

Io Shirai won Women's Ladder match to get a title shot against Charlotte Flair for the NXT championship, so tonight she gets to have her chance on charlotte Flair for the championship.
