WWE News | The Rock
It's been quite a few days since The WWE Hall of Famer, former World Tag Team Champion, and father of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, passed away at age 75. The two men became the first African-American World Tag Team Champions in WWE history when they defeated The Wild Samoans on Dec. 10, 1983. The in fully in the effection of his father because he the one who brought him out in WWE and trained him to the extend. After the death of Rocky Johnson, The Rock took it publicly toshare the words for his great father, he wrote-You lived a very full, very hard, barrier breaking life and left it all in the ring," wrote The Rock. "I love you dad and I’ll always be your proud and grateful son." The beautiful, heartfelt emotion strutted as a hearttouching that truly captured a son's love and admiration for his dad. Appreciate these bars about my pops, Rocky Johnson. “First black tag team champs, I’m a believer” He made us all believe. Thank you, brother. DJ Ps; today we lay the “Soulman” to rest. 🙏🏾
