So, to make it a most memorable multiple superstars took to their twitter to pay the tribute to Howard Finkel.

Vince McMahon was too wide awake by the sudden death of the greatest announcer in WWE history.

He took to his twitter to say that "Saddened to learn of the passing of my friend and WWE’s first employee, WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel. The grandest moments in sports-entertainment history were made all the grander thanks to Howard’s iconic voice".

Seth Rollins stated that Fink was the voice of my childhood and referred him the kindest human being that he ever met.

Becky Lynch said "The voice of a generation and the kindest, most loving human you could meet. RIP Howard. We will all miss you".

Howard Finkel was an American retired professional wrestling ring announcer, employed by WWE and was considering the greatest ring announcers in the history of sports and sports-entertainment.

Finkel debuted as a ring announcer at Madison Square Garden on January 17, 1977. By 1979, he had become the organization's lead ring announcer for their biggest events. By 1979, Finkel was the full-time ring announcer for WWWF, and when WWE was established in 1980, The Fink became the first — and eventually longest-serving — employee.

Throughout his career, Finkel's distinctive voice was sometimes used in the title sequence for the company's various television programs. Finkel's signature call was his announcement of a new champion following a title change, in which he would place extra emphasis on the word "new", in order to draw the greatest reaction from the crowd.

In 1993, at the "Roman"-themed WrestleMania IX, Howard Finkel was introduced in a toga as Finkus Maximus.

Despite being an announcer for WWE he did not step back to wrestle in WWE. He started his feud with manager Dr. Harvey Wippleman. Finkel was attacked by Wippleman's wrestler Kamala; at WrestleMania X. on January 9, 1995; on Monday Night Raw, he won a tuxedo match over Wippleman, by stripping him to his underwear in his first match. he Fink was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 4, 2009.
