WWE News | the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic  returns in 2020.
the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is on the line as it is supposed to return in 2020. It was first revealed on Wednesday’s edition of NXT,

The tag team tournament is named in honor of WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Dusty Rhodes, who died in 2015. He played a great part in NXT’s success and assisted as an instructor to many of today’s top Superstars and always keeps inspiring to them has served as a launching pad for many of NXT’s biggest stars.

It successfully has completed its four editions. the first was held with The 16-team single-elimination tournament which was established in August 2015 in the honor of Rhodes as a tribute. which was won by Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe.

The second edition was held on November 19, 2016, in Toronto, CanadaThe where AOP (Akam and Rezar)were found victorious.

The third edition was held on April 7, 2018, New Orleans, Louisiana at Smoothie King Center which was won by The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly

The recent edition was held on March 13, 2019, in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University which was won by Aleister Black and Ricochet.

The teams entering the tournament will be announced on the New Year’s Day edition of NXT in the USA. However, date has not been confirmed so far.
