WWE Releases Bunch Of Superstars Including Big Names, Rusev, Sarah Logan, Kurt Angle And Many More

Rusev was supposed to take place earlier including and that was from Rusev who was pleading for his release from WWE. However, meanwhile, he appeared on WWE whereby Rusev teamed with Humberto Carillo in a loss to Lashley and Angel Garza on the February 17 episode of Raw. This would end up being Rusev's final match in WWE.

Curtin signed with WWE in October 2017 but had to postpone his debut until his U.S. work visa was renewed. On 30 January 2018, Curtin debuted under the name Drake Maverick and was appointed the new General Manager of 205 Live.
On 1 July episode of Raw, Maverick attacked R-Truth with a suitcase and pinned him in the backstage area, while the latter was fleeing from a mob of wrestlers to become a two-time 24/7 Champion.
On April 12, 2020, Maverick was announced as a participant in the Interim Cruiserweight Title tournament representing Group A but now he has pulled out of the match.
The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush is also leaving the company who also performs on the NXT and 205 Live brands. Rush made his first televised appearance on the October 4 episode of NXT, where he was attacked by Velveteen Dream.
Rush made his return to NXT on the September 18 episode as a face and defeated Oney Lorcan to become the No. 1 Contender for Drew Gulak's Cruiserweight Championship.
Rush successfully captured the title on October 9 episode of NXT. On the December 11 episode of NXT, Rush lost his title to Angel Garza, ending his reign at 63 days.
Sarah Logan also suffered an elbow injury caused by Shayna Baszler on Last week's Raw episode. Now, she has also come into the terms to leave WWE.
