WWE Releases Curtis Axel
Curtis Axel was currently signed to WWE, where he would perform on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Curtis Axel has come in the terms to get the release from WWE as his contract gets finished.

Curtis Axel debuted on WWE's main roster as part of The Nexus. He then won the WWE Tag Team Championship with David Otunga once.[6] In 2013, he reignited his career under his current ring name, paying tribute to his father "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig and his grandfather Larry "The Axe" Hennig and won the WWE Intercontinental Championship once.

He has also been the part with Bo Dallas as part of The B-Team, with whom he held the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship once.

At Payback, Axel defeated Wade Barrett and The Miz in a triple threat match to win the Intercontinental Championship, his first singles title in WWE.

On the June 4 episode of Raw, The B-Team won a tag team battle royal to determine the number one contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships. At Extreme Rules, The B-Team defeated Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt to win the Raw Tag Team Championship.
