On the November 16 episode of Raw, Drew McIntyre got a rematch for the WWE Championship after he lost the title to Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell 2020 on October 25. McIntyre defeated Orton to wins the WWE Championship again and becoming Reigns' opponent at Survivor Series. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns was officially confirmed to Main Event of Survivor Series 2020.
Tonight in the Main Event, Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre via submission with the guillotine choke with the help of Jey Uso.
